You bring the puck — it's the magnet that holds the phone, so the mount needs one in it. The Apple 25W MagSafe Charger and the Samsung Qi2 25W Magnet Wireless Charger (EP-P2900) both drop in; the older Apple 15 W MagSafe puck is a different size and does not fit. Plug it into a portable battery bank and take it anywhere — the battery stays on the outside, we never seal one inside the cup.

Your charger's cord passes up through the lid and the slack coils into the channel built into its underside — tucked into the lid itself, not loose in the cup. Will it fit my cup?

Do I need my own charger?

Yes — your puck is the magnet. The mount carries none of its own; the charging puck drops into the face and its magnet array is what grips your phone. One part does both jobs, which is why the phone charges the whole time it's mounted — and why the mount needs a puck in it to hold a phone at all.

It takes the 25 W class: the Apple 25W MagSafe Charger or the Samsung Qi2 25W Magnet Wireless Charger (EP-P2900). Same outside diameter, so either one drops in. The older Apple 15 W MagSafe puck is a different size and does not fit. We don't sell pucks — those two links go straight to them.

iPhone 12 and newer snap on directly; Samsung and other Android phones need a magnetic Qi2 case.

How tough is it?

It's a structural part, not a flimsy clip — built for the road. It stays stiff so the magnet keeps full contact through road buzz and rough pavement, ride after ride.

Can I take it outside or by the pool?

Absolutely — desk, tailgate, campsite, poolside. It's built for real spaces, but it isn't waterproof, so keep it near the water, not in it.
