Every phone mount makes the same compromises. Vent clips buzz loose over rough pavement until the picture on the screen turns to mush. Suction and dash mounts block part of the windshield or the gauges. And most of them look like cheap aftermarket plastic bolted onto an interior you actually care about.

The steadiest spot in any vehicle is the cupholder. It sits low, it's deep, and it's built to hold something heavy without rattling. The catch is simple: a cupholder holds a cup, not a phone.

The idea: repurpose a cup you already own

Here's the honest mechanic, because we'd rather you know exactly what you're buying. This is not a clamp, and it doesn't touch your cupholder at all. It's a replacement lid with a MagSafe phone mount built into it. You take a tumbler you already own — a YETI or a Stanley from the cabinet — pull off its original lid, and snap ours on in its place. That cup becomes a dedicated phone stand. It sits in the cupholder the same way it always did, on its own base, because that's exactly what cupholders are built to do.

You're not buying a whole new contraption. You're giving a cup you already own a second job.

One thing to be clear about: once this lid is on, that cup is a phone stand, not a drink. It's a repurpose, not a do-everything device.

Every mount is 3D-printed and hand-finished in the USA, one order at a time, with the fit and finish checked before it ships. That's why it takes 3–5 business days to go out the door — these aren't pulled off a warehouse shelf. They're built when you order, in any of ten colors.

What's in the box, and what isn't

In the box: the mount, a gasket, and a 4 mm hex key. Not in the box: the charging puck — because the mount has no magnets or electronics of its own. Your puck drops into the face, and its magnet array is what grips the phone; with no puck installed, the mount holds nothing. So a puck is required, and two fit: the Apple 25W MagSafe Charger and the Samsung Qi2 25W Magnet Wireless Charger (model EP-P2900). The older Apple 15W MagSafe Charger does not work — the wattage is what tells the two apart. Both are sold at apple.com and samsung.com.

Your phone charges as fast as your charger and phone allow. To pull the full 25W from the Apple puck you need a 30W or larger USB-C power adapter behind it; on a smaller adapter it still charges, just slower.

Engineered for the road: no clip, no suction

The cup's own weight and base keep it steady — no clip on a vent, no suction cup on glass. No tools to install — no clips, no drilling. It sits low, so it never blocks the windshield or the gauges. When you're done, it looks like a cup in a cupholder, not an accessory bolted to your interior.

The mount is a structural part, not a flimsy clip. It holds its shape and keeps your puck in place through constant engine buzz and the jolts of rough pavement, so your phone sits exactly where you put it, mile after mile.

The cord has one path: through the lid, around the cable management underneath, and out the back. Feed through the length you want; the slack coils in the lid's recess underneath, out of sight.

Built for your phone: 360° spin, fixed 45°

The face holds your puck at a fixed 45°, and the phone spins a full 360° on it — landscape or portrait, your call. iPhone 12 and newer snap straight on. Samsung and other Android phones need a magnetic Qi2 case, since they have no built-in magnets.
