How to mount a phone on a YETI Rambler: swap the lid

With the mount fitted, there is no need to hold your phone because it is already facing you at a 45° angle while it charges—and when you do want to pick it up, an easy one-hand grab takes it off and it snaps right back onto the charger when you set it down. In a vehicle cupholder, your cup sets the phone's height. Check that it clears your controls and sightlines, and dock or adjust your phone while parked. Put the original drinking lid back on when you want to use the cup for drinks.

Fit your magnetic charger
Your magnetic charger holds the phone. Connect it to power so your phone tops up automatically whenever it sits on the mount. The mount has no magnets or electronics of its own.
Use an Apple 25W MagSafe Charger or Samsung Qi2 25W Magnet Wireless Charger (EP-P2900). Your charger is required and sold separately.
Route the cable
The cable passes through the lid, wraps around the cable management underneath, and exits at the back. Extra cable sits in the lid's recess, leaving the dry cup open underneath to store keys, earbuds, or spare coins—which also adds extra weight in the base for an even more planted, solid feel with taller cups on a flat surface.
Dock and rotate your phone
Phones with built-in magnets attach directly, including most iPhone models from iPhone 12 onward and select Android phones with Qi2 magnets. Phones without built-in magnets need a magnetic MagSafe or Qi2 case. Your phone charges as fast as your charger and phone allow.
