Your charger is the magnet. The mount holds no magnets of its own — the charging puck drops into the face and its magnet array is what grips your phone, so the mount needs one to hold a phone at all. It takes the 25 W class: the Apple 25W MagSafe Charger (opens in a new tab) or the Samsung Qi2 25W Magnet Wireless Charger (opens in a new tab) (EP-P2900). Same outside diameter, so either one drops in. The older Apple 15 W MagSafe puck is a different size and does not fit. We don’t sell pucks — those two links go straight to them.
Your phone: iPhone 12 or newer snaps straight on. Samsung and other Android phones need a magnetic Qi2 case.

Take the lid off a YETI cup you already own and snap this one on in its place. That's the whole install — no tools, no clips, no drilling. The cup you've had for years is now a MagSafe phone stand that lives wherever you set it: in the console, on your desk, on the counter.
Snaps on, hands-free. Your phone rides at a fixed 45° viewing angle on full magnet contact — maps in the car, video at the desk, a recipe on the counter. Grab it off with one hand and it’s a phone again.
Your cup sets the height. Taller tumbler, higher phone. Shorter cup, lower. Same mount either way — you pick the cup it rides on.
Your charger is the magnet (25W required, not included)
Your puck is the magnet. The mount carries none of its own — your charging puck drops into the face, and its magnet array is what grips the phone. One part does both jobs, which is why your phone charges the entire time it’s up there, and why the mount takes a puck in it to hold a phone at all. It’s built for the 25W class: the Apple 25W MagSafe Charger or the Samsung Qi2 25W Magnet Wireless Charger (EP-P2900) — same outside diameter, either one drops right in. The older Apple 15W MagSafe puck is a different size and does not fit. We don’t sell pucks, so those two links go straight to them. Run yours off a portable power bank and the whole thing works where there’s no outlet. The cord runs through the mount rather than around it — down through a slot in the lid, wrapped around the channel on the underside, and out the back, so you feed through the length you want and the slack coils into the lid’s own recess without eating into the cup’s room.
Phone compatibility: iPhone 12 and newer snap onto the puck directly. Samsung and other Android phones need a magnetic Qi2 case — the magnets live in the case, not the phone.
